Just a #cityofheroes island map I've been toying with for the last week or so. It's part of a larger project I've had in my head for quite a few years now. Decided to dust off the docs and image boards for it and start to see what I can do a little at a time. It's very early and unfinished obviously, but it's a fun little thought exercise if nothing else.

UPDATE: That's No Moon | Blender EEVEE Render v2

UPDATED VERSION -- An unknown planetoid is spotted by a deep space warning satellite and analyzed to determine how dangerous it could! Maybe it's an ancient Sith Empire planet-killing terror. Maybe it's Unicron's nastier cousin. Maybe it's a new cosmic threat from the Goa'uld. Who knows?? So this is another random creation that pulled from a few different influences. There's some Star Wars, some Stargate, some Transformers, and more mixed into this one. I had a lot of fun with modeling everything in Blender, then using some procedural materials for the textures before turning it into the animation seen here. The whole thing was rendered in EEVEE, then in Workbench view, and then with some additional modifications to the model and textures along the way to create some of the different looks here. After that I threw it together in VEGAS Movie Studio Platinum 17 and added in some overlays and text for the various UI elements, as well as music and sound effects downloaded from the YouTube audio library. Bonus points to anyone who takes the time to translate the text I added for the updated version. This was a lot of fun to put together, so let me know if there's anything you liked about it.

Another random creation that pulled from a few different influences. There's some Star Wars, some Stargate, some Transformers, and more mixed into this one. I had a lot of fun with modeling everything in Blender, then using some procedural materials for the textures before turning it into the animation seen here.
